General Update:
1. BANCA Team has performed deep research on short-term market timing models in the traditional financial market. Those models can be classified into four categories, although deep learning has not so far been widely applied in practice. Those four categories are listed below:
Ø Traditional technical signals, such as moving averages;
Ø Time series analysis models, such as ARIMA;
Ø Regime models, such as those relating to fractals;
Ø Machine learning signals, including deep learning models;
BANCA will apply machine learning technology to all those and make the output easy to understand. All those will eventually be included on CoinShell!
2. As of today, BANCA team has tested over 1000 models with factors created from all the above four categories. We are setting the bar high so we will have to continue testing for more models. Those models that have passed our initial testing phase will continue to be tested real-time — a lot of work on the backend team!
Development Progress:
1. The CoinShell web app is under development on both frontend and server-end.
2. We continue to test machine learning models to decide which ones to include on CoinShell and what factors to include in each of those models.
